The 2015 Nuages is a selection of excellent barrels from three outstanding blocks of our estate vineyard, as well as two blocks of the Medici Vineyard, which we also farm organically. This wine has gorgeous purity and elegance that is very compelling.

2014 Chehalem Mountains Nuages Pinot Noir
A quietly assertive pinot with a dark frame,
this leads with a whiff of tar and cinnamon
stick, fruit skin and caramel. All come
together with a day's air, buoyed by vinous
tannins that frame the fruit with and easy
elegance.

Vivid red. Smoke-tinged cherry and black raspberry scents, backed by vanilla and allspice nuances. Sappy and appealingly sweet, offering intense red and dark berry flavors that spread out slowly on the back half. Rich yet energetic, finishing with strong, spicy thrust, harmonious tannins and a late jolt of sweet cola.
