2011 Olenik Vineyard Pinot Noir 1.5 L

The Olenik Vineyard is a thirty plus acre vineyard in the Chehalem Mountain AVA. John Olenik purchased the vineyard from Rex Hill in 2007 and was a part of their Jacob-Hart Vineyard. It is a warm site consisiting of primarily marine sedimentary soil. 2010 was our first vintage sourcing from the site and was a very cool summer marked by small yields due to migratory birds. The cool climate and low yields ended up being a great balance for the typically masculine style wines that are produced from the site.
